JOB OPPORTUNITY:

ActivCare Home Services is looking for experienced and dedicated individuals for in-home homemaker and companionship services. We are seeking trustworthy caregivers who will be responsible for implementing our clients’ daily care plan in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with Agency policies and industry standards. Primary functions are to provide homecare and companionship to clients in their place of residence and assist in providing a safe and clean environment. Requirements:

- Meal preparation (must be willing to cook meals 3x a day)
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
- Assisting with the use of wheelchair, walker, or Hoyer lift
- Preparing necessary items to assist the client in the self-administration of medication**
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within clients’ residence. Duties may include light cleaning and straightening up of bathroom, straightening of living and sleeping areas, washing clients’ dishes or laundry, and other tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the client.
- Provide client with transportation if needed.
- Coordinate care needs of patients with other staff

**Clients are expected to have the ability to self-administer medication. ActivCare Home Services is a homemaker and companionship service. We do not provide medical care.
