You make six figures as a pharmacist, but your money is gone before your direct deposit even clears. 👉 Sound familiar?

It's not because you're bad with money. You're smart. You're capable. You've worked hard for every dollar.

The real issue? Money leaks. That $25 subscription you forgot about. The "quick" Costco run that turned into $200. The convenience fees that add up to hundreds each month. Little drips that drain your account before you even notice.

The good news? Once you spot these leaks and plug them, your paycheck finally feels like yours again.

I recently worked with a client who was able to save $600 per month just by spotting and stopping a bunch of small leaks.

Drop a đź’Š if you're ready to stop the drain and keep more of what you earn.

What if your next financial breakthrough isn’t a big leap… but a small, steady step? 💊💵

We just wrapped up the Money Made Easy: Recipe for Financial Wellness Summit, and one theme came through loud and clear across every session:
✨ Taking action matters more than perfection.
✨ Small daily habits create real momentum.
✨ You don’t have to do everything BUT you do have to start.

As pharmacists, we’re used to precision. We’re trained to get things right. But when it comes to our money, that same mindset can hold us back.

->We delay budgeting until it’s “perfect.”
->We avoid our accounts because we feel behind.
->We try to tackle everything at once and end up exhausted and stuck.

Here’s the shift: You don’t need a flawless plan. You need a clear priority and the courage to take the next small step.

Whether that’s checking your credit card balances, up auto-savings, or finally looking at your student loan repayment strategy; progress happens one decision at a time.

Let this be your reminder: You don’t need to be perfect to make progress. You just need to begin.

What small step are you committing to this week?

9/11 reminds us how quickly life can change, and how deeply we’re all connected.

To all who serve, protect, and care for others…thank you. We don’t take your work or your sacrifice for granted.

You’ve been working so hard...

so why does it feel like you're always playing catch-up.

You didn’t mean to fall behind. Life just got busy.

And now it feels like your finances are reacting to everything around you. There are unexpected expenses that got you off track, maybe changes in income, credit card balances going up again.

I understand because I've been there before.

Pharmacists please know. You’re not behind. You’re just reacting.

But... you don’t have to stay there.

When you start making decisions ahead of time: before payday, before the bills hit, before the stress kicks in; SOMETHING SHIFTS.
->You stop spinning.
->You start breathing.

That’s what being proactive does.

It gives you back your peace. Your power. Your plan.

You don’t have to overhaul everything. You just have to start.

Take time to reflect: what's "your end"?

Because once you know that, everything else becomes a decision… not a reaction.

Have you ever missed family events because of work?

I know the feeling all too well.

For years, I showed up late to birthdays, family dinners, bowling nights, even holidays.

When I did make it, I was usually rushing, exhausted, and not fully present.
It’s one of the hardest parts of our pharmacy profession... feeling like work always wins, and family time comes second.

But here’s what I want you to hear:
It doesn’t have to stay that way forever.

Today, I’ve built a schedule that gives me flexibility.
▪️I can show up to family gatherings on time.
▪️I can be present instead of distracted.
▪️And I can be there when my mom needs me.

How did I get here?
By getting my financial life in order and creating stability.

Because when your money is managed with intention, it opens up choices with your time.
👉 This is why your “why” matters.
👉 This is why knowing your priorities matters.

Working hard now, WITH A PLAN, means you’re moving toward a future where you can design your schedule and your life around what matters most.

Pharmacist friend, if you’ve been feeling pulled in every direction, exhausted, and stretched too thin… know that there is a way forward.

What would it mean for you to have the freedom to show up fully for the people and moments that matter most?

The best things in life (and money) are worth the wait...

50 years together. đź’›

My in-laws just celebrated their anniversary, and it reminded me of something powerful:

They didn't build a life together by chasing every impulse.

They build it by planning, budgeting and saving... even if it took longer.

And that's a lesson for us too.

As pharmacists, it's easy to want everything RIGHT NOW... but instant gratification often comes with debt attached.

True freedom comes when you slow down, plan ahead and wait for what really matters in your life.

Remember...the best things (in life and finances) are worth the wait. (Here's a photo of me and my husband at the anniversary dinner.)

What’s one thing you’re saving for right now that’s worth waiting for?

I see so many pharmacists trying to juggle paying a little extra on every debt they have...

credit cards, student loans, car payments...hoping that somehow, it will all add up to progress. But often, this approach leaves you feeling overwhelmed and stuck.

What I’ve found is that focusing on just one debt at a time can truly change everything. When you put your extra money and energy into that one debt, you start to build momentum. It’s like tipping over the first domino. Once it falls, the rest become easier to tackle.

That’s exactly where working with a financial coach can help. I work alongside you to sort through the noise, clarify what matters most, and create a simple, doable plan. Plus, I’m here to support you and keep you accountable every step of the way.

You don’t have to carry this burden alone. Sometimes, focusing on one thing is the key to finally moving forward with confidence.

If this resonates with you, send me a message. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Have you ever noticed how stepping away from the day-to-day makes everything feel clearer?

I just returned from a trip surrounded by the mountains and waterfalls of North Carolina and Georgia visiting family.

The pace was slower. The air felt lighter. And for the first time in a while, there was space to think (limited phone service).

As pharmacists, we spend so much of our energy taking care of everyone else. We push through long shifts, take on more responsibilities, and sometimes forget to breathe.

But when you unplug, even for a couple of days, something happens:
-> You start to see what your real priorities are.
-> You realize how much of your stress is just noise.
-> You see how the beauty of nature can really change your perspective.
-> You get clarity on where you actually want your time and money to go.

Here's the added bonus:

You get clear on your WHY.

When you’re clear on your priorities, your finances tend to follow. It becomes easier to say no to things that don’t serve you and yes to what truly does.

So, if you’ve been running on empty, consider this your reminder:

Step back. Unplug. Give yourself the space to reset.

Your mental health...and your money...will thank you.

If you could step away for just a few days, where would you go to recharge?

The one decision you can make as a new pharmacist that can change the course of your financial life...

You may have just started your pharmacy career.

You may not think your salary is enough (yet), you may not feel ready…but I'm going to share what a mentor told me when I just started practicing:

“Start saving now. Even if it’s small.”

That simple advice became my foundation. Sometimes it was very small BUT, it was consistent.

And over time, that consistency became confidence. It gave compound interest time to work its magic; and that made all the difference.

If you’re early in your career, here’s what I want you to know:

-> You don’t need thousands to get started — you just need a plan.
-> Envision what you want your future life to look like.
-> Compound interest rewards time, not timing.
-> The sooner you begin, the sooner you benefit.

It’s definitely never too late to start.

But it’s so powerful when you start early.

Your future self is already waiting...and they’ll be so glad you began today.

What’s one small step you can take today to invest in your future self?

Send me a message. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

You're checking all the boxes...

so why does it feel like you're still behind?

I want you to know that you’re not alone.

The truth is, being successful "on paper" doesn’t always feel like peace of mind. I know I have felt this way before.

Sometimes, the pressure of doing everything perfectly makes it hard to see how far you’ve come. Or to pause long enough to ask: What do I really want from my money and my life?

->You don’t have to be in crisis to want clarity.
->You don’t have to be drowning in debt to want direction.
->You can want more—even if you’re doing “fine.”

It’s okay to be proud of your progress and still want things to feel easier, calmer, or more aligned with your goals.

I just wanted to share this today because...someone needs to hear it.

If you're feeling behind, send me a DM. I’m here to support you.
