We had the pleasure of welcoming some very special visitors today—Katie and Maritza from the Alzheimer's Support Network

They stopped by to visit one of belovedfriend, and it truly meant so much to have them experience our community firsthand. We are incredibly proud to care for individuals entrusted to us and even more honored to be part of such a meaningful mission.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to them for their continued support of families in need—your compassion and dedication truly make a difference every single day.

Thank you for the work you do and for allowing us to be part of your extended care family. Together, we continue making a difference in the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones.

This month, March, has seen a plethora of entertaining and engaging activities. A 3-course St. Patrick's Day dinner, a visit to a Van Gogh art exhibit, pizza making, and playing croquet have been highlights. Staying active and uplifting spirits remains our priority.

"What if I’m not ready to move my loved one to Memory Care?"

Caring for a loved one with dementia at home can feel overwhelming, but support doesn’t always mean moving right away. There are ways to help your loved one remain at home safely while also caring for yourself as a caregiver.

- Learn about the diagnosis through trusted resources and support groups
- Make the home safer with simple modifications
- Use respite care or adult day programs to give yourself needed breaks
- Connect with dementia care coordinators and in-home services
- Plan ahead so you’re prepared if care needs change

And when the time does come to explore additional help, having a plan in place can make that transition less stressful for everyone. We’re here to educate, support, and guide families—whether that move is now, later, or just something you’re beginning to think about.
