We're writing to share some exciting news about the future of our memory care community. We are pleased to announce that our facility, previously part of ProMedica, will now be joining the Evergreen Management family!

We understand that changes in ownership can sometimes raise questions, and we want to assure you of one very important thing: the compassionate, high-quality care you and your loved ones receive will remain the same.

We want to assure you of our commitment to the values that have always defined us: exceptional care, a nurturing environment, and a dedicated team. While our management name has changed from ProMedica to Evergreen Management, everything else you cherish about our community remains constant. You will continue to see the same compassionate caregivers, the same skilled nurses, and the same familiar leadership team guiding our efforts every day. Our commitment to providing personalized, high-quality memory care for your loved ones is unwavering.

This transition is simply a change in name; our heart and mission remain steadfast. We are excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it brings to further enhance our services while maintaining the continuity and stability you value.

We ensure modifications are made to maintain a person’s independence as long as possible. When forks and knives are no longer working, finger foods are prepared to help maintain a sense of dignity.

The Arden Avengers of Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers) proudly joined the fight against Alzheimer’s at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s earlier this fall. This annual event, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association, takes place in over 600 communities nationwide, and we are thrilled to share that the Fort Myers walk was the first in Florida to exceed its fundraising goal!

At Arden Courts, we are committed to supporting families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other memory-related conditions. It’s inspiring to see our community come together to raise awareness and funds for research, care, and support. Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and made this incredible achievement possible. Together, we’re making a difference!

The staff and residents of Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers) finished the month of October off with a special celebration! This year at our 5th Annual Halloweenie Roast, everyone enjoyed a themed lunch, games, and candy!

The residents loved seeing all of the staff dressed up in and the Halloween spirit. Arden Courts (Fort Myers) coordinators put their all in with their costumes dressing as the feelings from the movie Inside Out. Special guest and Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator, Diane, even stopped in to join in on all the fun! 🎃🍭🍬

Our Memory Care Advisor, Andrew, and Business Development Specialist, Maria, brought hoagies to the Iona McGregor Fire Department to thank them for their commitment to safety to our area seniors and the rest of our community. We're grateful for all they do, including assisting our residents when needed, and are honored to call them a part of our extended family. Thank you!

Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers) celebrated Eduarda and Michelle today for National Housekeeping Appreciation Week! They enjoyed a meal out with their supervisor John and received a goodie bag to help them decompress.

Eduarda has been with the Fort Myers team for almost 2 years and Michelle for 7 months. They are both dedicated to make our community shine in all aspects, and we are all so fortunate to have them on our team! We asked John to share some insight on Eduarda and Michelle and he highlighted their dedication and said that they always make themselves available to assist whenever, whoever and wherever needed.

Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers) recently hosted a Virtual Dementia Training (VDT) for local senior service partners to experience a day in the life of someone living with dementia. Each person is suited up in gear that mirrors symptoms of dementia and must complete certain tasks. Most participants experience something different and are asked to reflect on how the training impacted them.

Trainings like these are important as they give us the opportunity to walk in our resident's shoes. Grasping what a loved one or resident is experiencing can significantly impact the quality of care we provide and deepen our understanding of their behavior. We are grateful that we are able to offer opportunities such as these and look forward to future trainings.

Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers) donated $420 to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Inc. this past month. One of our Memory Care Advisors, Andrew, was able to speak with the Community Liaison, Max, where he was told that with our contribution, they will be able to provide 840 meals for the residents of Southwest Florida. We are so grateful we are able to give back to our community, and look forward to future opportunities.

Erica from Soulful E.xperience spent a craft-filled day with Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers) residents! Each resident was able to make a beautiful flower mandala with petals, stems and leaves. Activities like these are important for those experiencing memory loss as they help sharpen fine motor skills and encourage process of thought.

Earlier this month, Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Fort Myers), joined other senior care experts for the Senior Services Luncheon held at Il Pomodoro. Every month, experts in the community join together to share resources, news and upcoming events to further our commitment to our residents. In addition to our luncheon, a 50/50 raffle is hosted in support of local not-for-profits in the community. This past luncheon was able to raise $400 for the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Inc.!

We would like to extend our gratitude to Il Pomodoro for hosting us each month as well as to the experts that join us in our shared commitment to helping others. We are grateful to be able to come together to help the needs of those with memory loss.

Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Ft. Myers) celebrated National Fried Chicken Day by raising money for the Alzheimer's Association! Professionals, friends, and family enjoyed a fried chicken dinner as well as a photo-op with our Executive Director, Natalia Valdes, as a crispy drumstick! In all, we raised $380 to put towards our donation. Thank you to all who came out!
