wanted to share something personal…

I recently had bloodwork done for hormones and other symptoms — all through Labcorp. Everything came back labeled “normal.”
And technically… it was.

But here’s what surprised me.
We have access to a platform that looks at labs a little differently — instead of wide “normal” ranges, it uses smaller, more optimal ranges that zoom in on how your body is actually functioning.

When I compared the two, one value that Labcorp considers normal actually showed up low on the optimal report.
Not a diagnosis.
Not something scary.
Just something worth paying attention to.

That comparison was eye-opening. It’s not about being told something is “wrong” — it’s about prevention, trends, and being proactive with your health.

It made me wonder how many of us are told we’re “fine,” but still don’t feel like ourselves.

We already have access to this type of deeper lab interpretation, and now we’re testing the idea of offering it as a service at the pharmacy.

Most people don’t realize what it really takes to keep an independent pharmacy running — especially today.

💊 We pay more for some medications than what we’re reimbursed.
💸 Insurance companies often pay us below the actual cost of the medication.
⏳ Reimbursement checks from PBMs (pharmacy benefit managers) can take weeks.. but most case months!
