Hey guys! It’s been a tough one, but I’m ecstatic and pleased to inform everyone that one year ago today, I *FINALLY* received my Florida License of Massage Therapy! Thank you to everyone that supported me throughout the schooling, encouraged me to actually apply in Florida, and to everyone that has walked alongside me in the past 365 days. I am eternally gratefully ans beyond blessed. One year down, many more to come! ❤️

Realizing I never gave a full introduction!
My name is Jenn Peterson. I am from eastern Iowa, where I graduated Capri College of Massage Therapy in 2012. After graduating, I worked on staff as their LMT, and shortly after, opened Hands with Heart Massage Therapy with a fellow massage therapist.
Through life events, I ended up leaving the massage life for a while.
In 2020 my family and I moved to SWFL, and after a while, I felt God’s calling to work at a chiropractic office. Through many months of prayer, multiple interviews, and a lot of internal frustration, I finally found my work family at San Carlos Chiropractic. SCC is a small faith-based office, so I knew I had found the right place, but I didn’t fully understand why.
After working there for a few months, and a few nudges by outside influences, I pursued my massage therapy license application in Florida. It took the state almost 6 agonizing months to (find and) approve my license. In that time, the current LMT at SCC had put in her notice, as her family was moving out of state.
When I say it was divine timing, there is no exaggeration! I was officially an LMT in FL only two weeks before the previous therapist left!
It has been almost a year since I slid in to this position at SCC, and I absolutely love every day of it!
All my life, my internal goal has been to help other people in any way I can, and massage therapy is no exception. Growing up, I had always heard the phrase “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life” but thought it was nonsense.. until I started working at SCC as their LMT 😁

As for me personally, I am a momma of many (2 biological and 3 bonus), fiancé to a great guy, avid member of my church, Disney lover, and excited for what life has for me next!
I work Monday-Friday at the office, and take personal clients over the weekend.
