💙 Lung Cancer Screening: Who Should Consider It?

Lung cancer screening is recommended only for adults at higher risk due to smoking history, age, and other health factors. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) suggests annual low-dose CT scans if you:

✅ Have a 20+ pack-year smoking history
✅ Currently smoke or quit within the past 15 years
✅ Are 50–80 years old

Screening can help detect lung cancer early, when it’s most treatable.
