Suncoast Perfusion-Comphrensive Blood Management Company
Raelene Totterdale, President and CEO, co-founded Suncoast Perfusion Services in 1998. She is currently a member of the AABB and President of The National Board of Preoperative Blood Management. Prior to establishing Suncoast, Raelene worked as an RN with open heart patients, was a case manager for surgical patients and also worked in Quality Management at a prestigious hospital.
Raelene says, “Suncoast Perfusion Services goes above and beyond most traditional perfusion companies. We are a comprehensive blood product management company that works with you to improve the standards of care, have more continuity of care and insure cost effectiveness.
Our goal is to insure the right patient gets the right blood product in the right amount at the right time for the right outcome. We individualized each program to fit the needs of the facility. We will become an integral part of your team helping you to derive and carry out plans of action for improvement. Suncoast has also teamed up with Haemonetics to bring our customers even more blood product management tools and services.”
When she is not at Suncoast Perfusion Services, in her spare time, Raelene enjoys riding horses with her triplet daughters and watching Steelers games with her husband and son. She also volunteers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and a Community Bank Steering Committee.
