SalusCare’s adult detox program has moved! The same compassionate care for adults detoxing from substances is now located at our Colonial Campus (10140 Deer Run Farms Road, Fort Myers), home of our Centralized Receiving Facility.

Outpatient Psychiatry, Therapy and Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) are still located at the Evans Campus.

Sharpen those pencils! Today is National Crossword Puzzle Day! Studies have shown that engaging in mentally stimulating activities, such as puzzles, might help sharpen our minds and even delay cognitive decline. While puzzles alone cannot prevent conditions like dementia, they can be a part of a broader strategy for maintaining mental and brain health.

It is not just celebrating all that people with disabilities have accomplished, it is also about society coming together to address the marginalization of people with disabilities and working to address the gaps that still remain. Collectively we look to a brighter future, where people with disabilities are treated as full and equal members of society in every country around the world and individuals who work to level the playing field for their peers with disabilities by providing accommodations that empower them to reach their full potential.

Giving Tuesday was launched as a response to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with the goal of dedicating a day to giving and community building. Co-founders Henry Timms and Asha Curran launched it as a social media campaign encouraging acts of kindness, volunteering, and financial contributions on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It has since grown into an independent non-profit and a global movement that inspires millions of people to give back.

SalusCare's acute care and residential programs are open and ready to serve you. Emergency services at our Colonial are available for children and adults 24/7 -- even on holidays!

Our outpatient and administrative offices will be closed on November 27 & 28, reopening at 8:00 am on December 1.

Serving the community is not about competition. It's about partnership. We were thankful to partner with Park Royal Hospital for Coffee and Connections at our Transitional Living Center Campus in Fort Myers. More than 30 individuals toured our adult treatment and recovery residences. Did you know we have 80+ beds on this campus? Recovery is possible!
