Strides OT is looking for help!

We need a COTA or OT to join our team. Hours are limited to start, so someone looking to supplement their current job or someone who only needs PRN is ideal. We have approximately 8 hours per week to start. Email us at info@stridesot.com if you’re interested!

Ideally barefoot 🙃
Why?!
Walking up and down inclines (slides, hills, etc.) 👉 activates the muscles in the feet, lower body, and core
Walking over uneven surfaces (cushions, grass, dirt piles, etc.) 👉 targets the proprioceptive system and helps the body understand where it is and how to move and balance
Climbing over obstacles (fences, hills, bean bags, etc.) 👉 gets the entire body working and helps get both sides of the brain and body working together

Working hard on letter writing followed by our horse forming the letter in our giant writing box! This activity addressed not only the letter formation but visual spatial skills, strength from holding a quadruped position, sequencing, and so much more! ,
