Our Story
In Cantonese, “Yaso” means God. Yaso Yoga is a unification of oneself with their spirit. Yoga was created in India. Yaso Yoga founder David Gallaher studied a variety of yoga styles following his many travels throughout the world. He is also a Grandmaster in martial arts at the Gung Fu Institute in Fort Myers.

One of the most unique aspects of Yayso Yoga is the diverse styles of Aerial and Acro Yoga offered in a variety of levels. From beginner to advanced, anyone can learn to fly and it is our joy to share the fun and style of these forms with students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
The physical benefits of Yaso Yoga are abundant. From flexibility, improved digestion, and posture to muscle toning and balance, Yaso Yoga is fantastic for everybody. In addition, Yaso Yoga offers many mental benefits including the following: mental focus, stamina, pushing oneself beyond preconceived limits, self-confidence, and treatment of depression.
Who Should take Yaso Yoga?
Yaso Yoga is excellent for anybody seeking mental and physical wellness. All poses can be customized to each individual’s ability. Modifications will be offered in every class.
What Do I Need to Prepare for Class?
First and foremost, bring a positive, loving attitude! Be sure to arrive to class prepared with a mat, and a hand towel. Wear well-fitting, comfortable, and stretchy clothing suited for workouts or yoga. A shirt with sleeves is recommended for aerial forms. Come well-hydrated and with an empty stomach and arrive to class about 10 minutes before starting time. Yoga mats and other accessories are able to be purchased at our studio.
