Equipped with 15 years of experience in the area of ambulatory and general anesthesiology, Dr. Gary Lawson-Boucher serves with passion and dedication the residents of Fort Myers and surrounding communities in Florida. Over the course of his career, Dr. Lawson-Boucher was granted several military awards for his remarkable achievements during his 10 years as an anesthesiologist with the United States Navy. A Lieutenant Commander of the Medical Corps, he has also received publication into Outpatient Surgery Magazine. During his academic career, Dr. Lawson-Boucher, studied at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers University Medical School. Dr. Lawson-Boucher is certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology and he is also certified in Naval Warfare. He is an active anesthesiologist who loves to stay abreast on the latest clinical advancements in his specialty. Therefore, he maintains professional society memberships with the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Collier County Relief Organization, the California Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia. Dr. Lawson-Boucher credits his successful career to navy training and innate attention to details. Published in The Leading Physicians of the World by the International Association of HealthCare Professionals (IAHCP), he reads the British Journal of Anesthesia and dedicates to world travelling and languages in his spare time.
