The true meaning of ripped jeans 😂👖

In the shoulder world:
➡️ Split tear = small rip, fibers still hanging on
➡️ Full-thickness tear = jeans are DONE 💥

That “little rip” can turn into a full tear if you keep pushing through pain.
The good news? We can often see it early (hello ultrasound 👀) and fix the problem before it completely falls apart.

Moral of the story: don’t wait until the jeans are unwearable 😅
Listen to your shoulder.

Throwing not feeling right? 🎯
A lot of times, the culprit is shoulder impingement.

🔍 What is impingement?
It’s when the tendons or bursa in the shoulder get pinched during overhead movements—like throwing—leading to pain, loss of velocity, and poor mechanics.

The game-changer? Ultrasound.
We can see what’s interfering with your throw in real time instead of guessing. Once we know what’s being pinched, we treat the cause—not just the symptoms.

Fix the impingement ➡️ clean up the throw ➡️ get back to performing 💥

Amy knows the key is staying ahead of it 💪

She comes in every few weeks to keep her neck feeling good—but lately she’s been noticing more pain around the scap area as she’s been pushing toward her pull-up goals 🏋️‍♀️

We’ll take care of the tight spots, clean up the movement, and keep her progressing—not backing off.
Consistency + smart recovery = results.

Let’s get you to that goal, Amy 👏

Dry needling for kids? 👀
Here’s the trick parents love ➡️ cold spray ❄️

It numbs the skin just enough so they don’t feel a thing, relax faster, and we can get right to work.
Less fear. Less tension. Better results.

Safely done, kid-friendly, and all about one goal:
👉 getting them back to their sport faster 🏃‍♂️⚽️🏀

Shoulder is the best it’s ever been. 🙌

After months of shoulder pain and limited mobility, this is the update we love to hear.
Now they’re back to working out 3x/week, doing yoga, and finally feeling in shape again 💪🧘‍♀️

No quick fixes—just the right plan, consistency, and treating the why behind the pain.
If your shoulder has been holding you back, this is your sign 👀

Ligaments don’t get much blood flow — and that’s why they can take forever to heal. 🩸⬇️

With ultrasound, we can actually see what’s going on inside the ligament instead of guessing. Once we know the tissue quality and stage of healing, we can determine if dry needling is appropriate for that area.

When used correctly, dry needling can help stimulate circulation, improve tissue response, and speed up the healing process — especially in stubborn ligament injuries that just won’t calm down.

Assess first. Treat with purpose. Heal smarter. 💪

What does post knee replacement look like? 🤔

Jeff is only a few weeks post–knee replacement and already putting in the work 💪

After this surgery, the quad and calf can atrophy fast—so restoring knee extension and flexion early is everything.
In just one session, Jeff gained 3° of motion 👏

Now it’s all about building strength, controlling swelling, and progressing safely so he can get back to what he loves most… golf ⛳️

Back from school for the holidays 🎄

Zach’s been coming to see us for 4 years—started with his knee, and this week it was all about his Achilles. Just in town for the week, already feeling better, getting in strength training with Jason, and heading back to Ohio ready to run 🏃‍♂️

That’s what consistency + the right care looks like. 💪

Is dry needling worth the risk ⁉️

After what recently happened with TJ Watt, a lot of conversations started—especially across the NFL. What stood out most? Player after player spoke up about how much dry needling has helped them manage tight muscles, recover faster, and stay on the field.

Like any treatment, safety and proper technique matter. When performed correctly by trained clinicians, dry needling can be an extremely effective tool—not something to fear. ❌

Education, precision, and intention always come first. And for many athletes, the benefits speak for themselves. 💪

Decluttering for the New Year ✨

Do you do this too? Clearing out your space is such a powerful way to clear your mind—and let go of things that might be holding you back from your best self.

Out with the old, making room for better habits, better energy… and yes, even that pizza in the freezer 😉🍕
