Unfortunately due to the uncertainty of what conditions that Hurricane Milton might bring to our area, we have decided to cancel this event. We will be rescheduling once we secure a new date with the Riverwalk Center. We will keep everyone posted. So sorry for this change but want everyone to be safe leading up to and during this storm. We are just a few weeks away from our annual fundraiser, Bubbles 4 Bo***es Wine Tasting in the fight against breast cancer. We are really hoping to have our best fundraising year ever. October is certainly gearing up for Breast Cancer Awareness and Windsor Community Angels is very fortunate to have so much community support. Our local Ft. Pierce Women's Club is hosting their annual Bras For a Cause and we are so excited to be their local non profit this year. Please come out and support these local women who do so much charity work for our community while supporting our mission at Windsor Community Angels in the fight against Breast Cancer. Our Bubbles 4 Bo***es Wine Tasting 2024. Please come out and support our cause of helping uninsured individuals in our community receive free mammogram screenings, breast ultrasounds, breast MRI's and cover costs of other medical treatments. In honor of women for International Women's Day on March 8th, we are offering a free mammogram voucher to every individual that schedules or receives their mammogram at our facility through the end of March. This voucher is to pass on to another individual that does not have health insurance or cannot afford to pay cash. We believe in the fight against breast cancer and no individual should go without this preventative screening. Help us to help others in our community. May is National Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention Month. Osteoporosis causes 2 million bone fractures every year. This devastating disease affects 4 out of 5 women as well as many men. Fortunately it can be detected and treated with a bone density exam. The National Osteoporosis Foundation recommends testing at age 65 and older, if you break a bone after age 50, if you are a woman of menopausal age with risk factors, if you are a postmenopausal woman under age 65 with risk factors or if you are a man age 50-69 with risk factors.
