Nearly 1 in 3 households in St. Lucie County live below 300% of the poverty threshold. With Medicaid eligibility reviews and ACA rollbacks on the horizon, that number is only expected to grow.

HANDS Clinic is proud to partner with Florida State University to offer a two-week rotation for third-year medical students.

This year, Isabella and Pierce spent their first week shadowing our volunteer providers and dentist, while also visiting local nonprofit organizations. HANDS offers a unique opportunity to teach future providers how to support patients with limited resources!
