Rain, mud, low crawls, casualty carries, and tactical field care — BJACH Soldiers put their skills to the test during FORGE Heavy at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk.

Throughout the exercise, Soldiers from across Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital trained to operate in austere and high-threat environments while strengthening combat casualty care, evacuation procedures, land navigation, and team-based field operations.

Exercises like FORGE Heavy help ensure Army Medicine teams remain ready to rapidly treat, move, and support casualties wherever the mission takes them.

Today, we proudly join the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk in recognizing the incredible military spouses who serve alongside our Soldiers every single day. 💜🇺🇸

Military spouses are an essential part of readiness — supporting their Families through deployments, training rotations, PCS moves, long hours, and the unique challenges of military life with resilience, strength, and grace.

At Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, we are grateful for the spouses within our beneficiary community and among our own teammates who continue to support the mission both at home and in the workplace.

Thank you for all you do for our Soldiers, Families, and our Army community. Today, and every day, we appreciate you. 💜

Today, on Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we recognize the strength behind the force — the spouses who serve alongside our Soldiers every single day.

At JRTC and Fort Polk, military spouses are part of what makes this installation and community so strong. They hold families together through long hours, late nights, rotations, deployments, field problems, PCS moves, and the uncertainty that comes with military life. They build communities, raise families, support one another, volunteer countless hours, and continue to answer the call right alongside their Soldiers.

The mission here is demanding. Training warfighters for the next fight takes sacrifice from the entire family, and our spouses carry that burden with resilience, grit, and grace.

To every spouse across JRTC and Fort Polk — thank you. Your support strengthens readiness, builds our Army community, and helps forge the warrior spirit that defines this installation.

Today, and every day, we appreciate you.

🚁 Training the way we fight.

BJACH Soldiers participating in FORGE Heavy recently conducted nine-line MEDEVAC and casualty evacuation training alongside our partners from Charlie Company “Cajun DUSTOFF,” 1st Battalion, 5th Aviation Regiment.

The training provided Soldiers the opportunity to rehearse casualty movement, evacuation procedures, and rapid coordination in realistic operational environments — strengthening the lifesaving partnerships that support readiness across the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk.

Thank you to the Cajun DUSTOFF team for helping our medical personnel sharpen critical evacuation and combat casualty care skills in support of the Warfighter.

⭐ WE ARE BJACH: C4 IN ACTION ⭐

This week, we proudly spotlight SPC Brandons Coffey, Practical Nursing Specialist (68C) and Mother/Baby Nurse in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital.

At BJACH, nurses play a critical role in delivering safe, patient-centered care that supports Soldier readiness and Family resilience. SPC Coffey’s work ensures new parents and newborns receive the care and support they need during some of life’s most meaningful moments.

From first cries to first bonds, his care helps set the foundation for healthy Families—strengthening the force and the community we serve.

💬 “Nothing compares to caring for a new life and being part of one of the most important days in a family’s life.”

As SPC Coffey prepares for his next chapter, we thank him for his service and for the lasting impact he’s made on military Families.

👏 Thank you for everything you’ve done for Team BJACH.
