Therapist, Jennifer Daulton held groups this week with our residents and they learned about the WHAT skill.
They learned that they need to observe, describe and participate in order to remain mindful and regulated. They participated in different small activities and they found it beneficial to identify that they often judge peers and others around them.

KRI had a day full of festivities beginning with a 5K Color Run, and ending the day with a celebration of activities and a cookout!

Thank you to all the small town businesses and humans that helped out today! We also would like to shout out to our local Bourbon County Law Enforcement Center Sheriff’s Department for helping to oversee our Color Run and Fort Scott Fire Department for helping to fill the dunk tank!

Run don’t walk to book your art class with The Artificers! These two humans are so amazing with students of all ages! Our residents have been there twice now and have made some pretty amazing art work! Today they worked with clay to make coffee mugs! What a joy it is to support local!
