For most of you who are following this page, the workshop(s) and classes will be held in Mound City.
Wondering why you should sign up for a workshop, when you could just wait and start when the classes start up? I have had a couple of ladies ask, and this is a great question.
The biggest reason. The workshop is to prepare you for a class that has a blend of cardio, strength and stretch (pilates exercises and yoga movements) and is for every body.
There will be many modifications (options) offered throughout the class(es). The workshop is when I will slow it down more than I would in a typical class, and not only break down exercises, but give you reasons for why the class is structured the way it is.
I have exercise props (blocks, disks, etc.) available to help you feel the exercise where you should, because when you understand your body, it makes you smarter and will provide more of what you need when you show up (or practice/workout at home).
You will want to be dressed to move and break a sweat. If you have taken classes from me before, you already know I love movement and making it accessible for everyone in the room. You will feel stronger.
You may realize you had some muscles you didn’t know were there, or forgotten about.
You will have fun and walk away feeling better than when you walked in.
