🎶✨ Thirsty Thursday brought double the fun with a round of Name That Tune: TV Theme Song Edition! Our residents had a blast guessing classic tunes like Bonanza, The Love Boat, The Brady Bunch, and Star Trek—and the smiles were contagious! 🔥💦 On this hot summer day, we cooled off the best way we know how — with water balloons! The ladies had a blast making staff the targets — and they didn’t hold back! 😄 Meanwhile, the guys took on a challenge: hit the rake hanging on the fence for a chance to toss one at me. Let’s just say Mr. Johnnie was more than up to the challenge! 🎯💧 It was laughter, fun, and splashes all around — a perfect way to beat the heat together!

🎉 We had the absolute joy of celebrating Granny’s 100th birthday! 🎂💐 It was a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Fort Smith Mayor George McGill honored Granny with a special proclamation, declaring it “Granny Day,” and the celebration was truly fit for a queen! Her children, fellow residents, and staff were all thrilled to share in this milestone moment. To make the day even more special, Miss Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair and Ms. Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair Elite joined us to crown Granny in honor of her big day! 👑 Granny’s hand-sewn quilts—lovingly brought in by her granddaughter—were proudly displayed and admired by all. She absolutely lit up seeing her beautiful work shared with everyone. 💜

We had some moo-velous visitors—Paris, Thumper, and Maisey, our adorable miniature cows! Thank you to Shelby Lenea Godfrey for sharing her babies! 🐮💜 These gentle friends stopped by to share some love, bring big smiles, and offer a unique kind of pet therapy that our residents absolutely adored. Animal therapy has so many benefits—lowering stress, boosting mood, and creating meaningful moments. And let’s be honest… it’s not every day you get to cuddle a cow! 🐄
