We were so excited to welcome Tristin Bolton, M.S., Sebastian County Extension Agent – Family & Consumer Sciences with the U of A Division of Agriculture, to Darby Middle School!

Tristin spent six sessions with Coach Shibest’s 6th grade science classes through the Teen Cuisine program, giving students hands-on learning about nutrition, food preparation and cooking, food safety, and the importance of physical activity. The lessons were engaging, practical, and focused on helping students build healthy habits they can use in everyday life.

We truly appreciate Tristin for sharing her time, expertise, and passion with our students. Thank you for helping make a positive and lasting impact on the Darby community! 💙🍎👏

¡Nos encantó recibir a Tristin Bolton, M.S., Agente de Extensión del Condado de Sebastian en Ciencias de la Familia y del Consumidor, de la División de Agricultura de la Universidad de Arkansas, en Darby Middle School!
Tristin compartió seis sesiones con las clases de ciencias de 6.º grado del Coach Shibest a través del programa Teen Cuisine, brindando a los estudiantes aprendizaje práctico sobre nutrición, preparación y cocina de alimentos, seguridad alimentaria y la importancia de la actividad física. Last week we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch with fellow Student Services team members from Fort Smith Public Schools. It was nice to come together, connect, and celebrate as one team.🎄✨

CPTMH’s trauma-informed ASH Program is a one-time, online class designed to support caregivers navigating challenging youth behavior, mental health concerns, school difficulties, or involvement with juvenile justice or child welfare systems.

We also offer a specialized ASH Program for Shared Parenting, created for parents experiencing separation or divorce who want to build healthier, more cooperative co-parenting dynamics.

Participants learn practical, trauma-informed strategies to reduce conflict, support their child’s resilience, and respond rather than react.
