🌟 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month 🌟

At Sprouts Therapy Center, we are proud to celebrate the richness of Hispanic Culture and the incredible contributions of our team members who share this heritage.

Today, we honor three of our amazing staff members- Ms. Banessa, Mrs. Bea, and Mrs. Erika- whose dedication and compassion make such a difference every day. Not only do the bring joy, expertise, and positivity to our clinic, but they also help us serve the Hispanic pediatric community here in Fort Smith by bridging language and cultural connections.

We are so grateful for their talents, their passion for helping children thrive, and the unique perspectives they bring to our Sprouts family 🌱

Happy from Sprouts!

Our weekly crafts are not just to spark creativity- they help strengthen fine motor skills, attention, and executive functioning in an engaging way! 🎨✂️🖍️

We also incorporate a monthly snack activity for our older friends so they can learn to prepare simple meals- building life skills, confidence, and independence one recipe at a time! 🥪🌭🍪

Happy for the last few weeks! We’ve celebrated several therapy graduations, birthdays, and many many met goals! We couldn’t be more proud of all these little sprouts for their continued hard work, and the dedication of their families to get them to their appointments! Consistency=KEY to therapeutic success!!

Amazing Saturday getting to bond with the team getting centered and grounded with and then hitting the buffet at ! Improving mental and physical health is more fun as a team 💪🏼

Happy RAINY (finally) and 2nd Monday of the school year! We hope everyone is adjusting as well as these kiddos are. In true school fashion, we worked on sequencing the letters of our names last week using stickers. At the same, strengthened our fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination skills. Whew! First of the new school year- of course we had to make school busses to celebrate! We’re so proud of how all these little sprouts have been transitioning into new norms, routines, and schedules! In OT, we work on emotional regulation skills needed to tolerate such changes, as well as other tools needed to succeed in the classroom!
