Baptist Health MIHOW is a new home-visiting program for pregnant women and families. Trained community outreach workers are assigned to mothers in their own neighborhoods, teaching them and mentoring them about pregnancy, delivery, breastfeeding, positive parenting, nutrition, and more.

An Arkansas woman is thankful to be alive after a brain aneurism ruptured during her workout. Luckily, she was in the best place for it to happen. Cherie Abston was working out in the gym at Baptist Health when all of a sudden everything went dark.

“The code team was called and they got her stable and they got her into ICU,” Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute Physical Therapist Kim Roberts said.

We're thrilled to collaborate with UAMS and establish a milk bank in Southeast Arkansas. The milk bank is situated in the Olivia Faith Beebe Nursery at Baptist Health Medical Center—Drew County; we are committed to providing specially processed donated milk to support infants in our state.
