Last week, we hosted our monthly potluck/birthday celebration and celebrated Thanksgiving together at The Kistler Center. From the laughs to the delicious food, we had it all.

Last week, during our inaugural 1,978 Minutes of Giving we raised a total of $575, $250 of which was designated specifically for Charitable Care. ❤

We are grateful for the supporters who made this possible through not only giving money, but also sharing our posts and telling others about The Kistler Center. None of this is possible without YOU!

Did you know that a donation of just $35 can make a lasting impact for one of our Persons Served?

When you choose to donate during 1,978 Minutes of Giving, you will have the opportunity to be an Arc for the River Valley Annual Membership Sponsor for one of our Persons Served. An opportunity to have a membership at The Arc for the River Valley is huge for our persons served. It allows them interact with others, gain skills, and build confidence in themselves. An annual membership is only $35 and covers the cost of all activities for the member.

The Arc for the River Valley is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, engaging, environment for people who live with a disability to participate in various activities, socialize, take classes (ex. cooking, art, science, etc.), and connect with resources and advocacy. 🎬 Event Announcement! 🎬

The Center for Exceptional Families will be hosting a sensory cinema at the Malco Theatre in Van Buren on Nov. 29th!

🎟️All movies will start at 9:30am and the films being shown will be Wicked For Good and Zootopia 2.
🎟️Tickets are available day of event only in theatre lobby. It's $8.00 plus tax per person and will be cash only.
🎟️ No previews, moderately dimmed lighting, lowered volume, and concession available for purchase!
