What a wonderful beginning to 2026 as we gathered at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Huntington for our first "Sweet Connections". We had a crowd of 25 people who came to hear Kendall Price, Medicare Specialist of Arkansas, help us to understand the updates to 2026 Medicare and Advantage Plans. Thank you Kendall for making something complicated so much easier to understand. Thank you to our SCA members who attended:

Our Mission is to educate, empower, and equip seniors and caregivers with the tools and resources they need to navigate the challenges of aging. Senior Care Alliance members did it again! Thank you for participating in our donation of paper products for some of our senior community members. SCA Christmas Party was so much fun with lots of laughs as we continue our Mission: to serve as a unified resource and advocate for regional senior citizens and family caregivers.

December 2025 Christmas General Meeting was a blast! Thank you to Hopes Creek Assisted Living for hosting our Christmas Party. Thank you, Felesha Myers, Hopes Creek Administrator, for a wonderful lunch.

Join us today for the December General Meeting/Christmas Party at Hopes Creek Assisted Living in Van Buren. Lunch will be provided by Hopes Creek at noon.

We will be accepting donations of paper products (paper plates, napkins, bathroom paper, paper towels, tissue, etc) that will be provided directly to our Community Seniors.

Senior Care Alliance was invited by the Altus Mayor, Veronica Post to participate in the judging of the Altus Christmas parade on Sunday afternoon, December 14th. Thank you for this invitation.

Thank you to Cassie Barnes, Blossoms of Van Buren for representing Senior Care Alliance. Cassie reports having a great time! It was a cold day but a great parade!

December Coffee Talk at Van Buren Senior Center. Thank you, Sara Floyd, Home Instead for your reminder of "Finding Joy in the Holidays". Everyone had fun and enjoyed hot chocolate & brownies. Lots of door prizes were given away provided by Senior Care Alliance members.
