Spring is a busy time in our local schools, and we love being part of it!

Team members from Baptist Health recently visited schools in Alma and Fort Smith to connect with students and families, share information about our services, and celebrate alongside the community. These events are a great way for us to meet families where they are and help kids learn a little more about health and wellness.

Thank you to the schools for welcoming us — we always enjoy spending time with our River Valley students and parents!

Two of our incredible team members, Nycole Oliver, DNP, of Baptist Health Family Clinic–Massard, and Crystal Lougin, MS, LPC-S, Director of Behavioral Health, recently had the opportunity to share their expertise at the Oasis Emotional Health Conference, where Baptist Health was proud to serve as a sponsor.

It was a powerful day centered on resilience, authenticity, and the importance of caring for our own well-being so we can better care for others. Conversations like these remind us that healing extends beyond clinical care—it lives in community, connection, and the courage to show up as our most authentic selves.

Because caring for our community—mind, body, and spirit—is what we do. For You. For Life. 💙

Nycole Oliver, DNP, had the honor of joining an inspiring Women in Healthcare panel at the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce First Friday Breakfast at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. It was a powerful conversation about leadership, service, and the impact women are making across healthcare and public health in the River Valley.

Events like this remind us how important it is to support one another, strengthen community partnerships, and keep showing up for the people we serve. The takeaway for women building careers in healthcare and service industries: stay curious, use your voice, and don’t be afraid to be a little loud. Our communities are better because of it. 💪✨

Safe sleep saves lives! Always remember the :

Alone, on their Back and in a Crib — that’s the safest way for your baby to sleep.

What’s safe: A firm mattress with a fitted sheet.
What to avoid: No pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, bumpers, or toys in the crib.

Keeping the crib clear reduces the risk of SIDS and helps your little one sleep soundly and safely.

🎳 Always a fun time at the Van Buren Chamber’s Incredibowl Tournament! 🎳

Baptist Health was proud to participate and be a presenting sponsor. From bowling our best to admiring the super creative bowling pin decorating contest, it was a great day with our community.

And while some of our team was aiming for strikes, our Stroke Coordinator Amy was working to strike out strokes by sharing free stroke education with attendees. 🧠🧠
