✨ Meet Satin ✨

Satin Marche is the founder of The Village of Sacred Melanin holistic perinatal wellness organization rooted in advocacy, autonomy, and activism. As a Doula, Educator, and Perinatal Yoga Instructor, she supports military and civilian families near Fort Stewart, GA area.

Yoga has been woven into her life since childhood, long before she understood its deeper meaning. From instinctively finding comfort in backbends and inversions during her youth and college years, yoga became a steady source of grounding and self-connection. Her love for the practice eventually led her to formal study, affirming what she had always known. Yoga was always a part of her.

A profound shift occurred during her pregnancy, when she became a Womb Yoga Practitioner through the Queen Afua Wellness Institute. This time marked a full-circle moment, deepening her connection to the wisdom of the womb and solidifying her calling to guide others through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Satin Marche is the founder of The Village of Sacred Melanin , a sacred space offering holistic care for Black families through ancestral wisdom, wellness, and community-centered design. As a Green Interior Decorator, Kemetic practitioner, yoga facilitator, and postpartum doula, she supports families in creating toxin-free, spiritually grounded homes that nurture both baby and parent through all four trimesters. Her approach honors the importance of rest, ritual, and rhythm during the sacred transition from womb to world.

Satin’s own journey as a military spouse, eldest sibling, and mother informs her work deeply. Through her Meals for Milso® initiative, she connects military families with homemade, nourishing meals prepared by fellow military spouse entrepreneurs. She also offers sliding-scale services, group rituals, and community yoga. Whether she’s creating healing spaces or advocating for support in remote military communities, Satin reminds us that where the village gathers, Spirit moves.
