Great news coming out of Dr. Schweitzer's office this Monday! I am officially listed on Wellcare Kentucky's website as a provider accepting new patients for medicaid members with this health plan. I cannot tell you how many phones calls I made and how many emails were exchanged to get to this point. I'm finally out there and accessible for Wellcare patients looking for Chiropractic care. Shouting it from my desk today: NEWEST WELLCARE PROVIDER NOW ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS HERE IN FORT THOMAS.

Riddle me this: where are all my NKY firemen getting adjusted? I just had a conversation with one of my Hamilton FD guys and I was telling him that I don't see many firemen and its not because I'm not trying. I have been to every firehouse in Fort Thomas, Campbell County, Newport, Florence with flyers to introduce myself. Traditionally, firemen have been high up in my patient base but I only see 2 right now. The fire service is intense between the gear, the mental and physical load, and all the softball... they keep me busy! Help me spread the word that firemen need Chiropractic care (and most of them have great insurance). Share away!

Mark's patients are finding out i have a savory palette and not much of a sweet tooth... and so the foods are starting to arrive! I'm pumped. Egg salad, chicken salad, ham salad, and tuna salad with chips. Yesssssplease!

Celebrating the end of the school year from Ohio to Kentucky listening to the Chalk Brothers shred and eating all the delish items at Padrinos. Bonus points for walking distance from the office!

All 4 of us will be at Padrino this Friday listening to Chuck & The Chalk Brothers play music. It will be a great time, they are so much fun, and its in our parking lot. Can't beat that! Happy Monday, everyone!

School ends this Friday and it's the Chalk Brothers' favorite day! Padrino's is at Highland and Grand in Fort Thomas. Great pizza and pasta.

Forgot to post about our trip to Fort Thomas' Earth Day on Sunday. We got trees, seeds to plant, learned about bees, witnessed chainsaw carvings, learned about pollution, spent time as a family, and visited the always amazing Tower Park afterwards. They slept great that night and our annual trip to NKY will now include a pitstop to The Silver Grove Dairy bar. The corn dogs are awesome. -The Floreks

Attention Southgate Residents:
Your city is giving away free PawPaw trees for FREE in honor of Earth day. Too bad I don't live here because I'd definitely be taking advantage of this. The PawPaw tree is one of only fruit bearing trees native to this region and since they are native here - you don't have to do anything extra. Just plop 'em in the ground. This is an awesome opportunity and your city is doing neat things. The more you know ;)

In honor of Arbor Day, the City of Southgate is offering FREE Pawpaw trees to all residents! Please call or email below before Friday, April 25 at 2 PM to reserve yours! Trees can be picked up between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM at the Community Center (301 W. Walnut) on April 25, or dropped off to your home by Saturday afternoon.

It's springtime and my patients know I like to plant stuff. Thanks HG for the Zinnia seeds! Can't wait to see these keylime zinnias sprout all summer long! Now just need to wait until the frost threat passes. Happy Pre-Friday, everyone!

Finally treated my first VA referral yesterday through Community Care. I'm not lying when I say it took years to receive. If you are a veteran requesting Chiropractic care but are unable to be seen at the Cincinnati, Dayton, or Lexington VA centers within 28 days of consultation, send me a message and I'll respond with instructions. What have I learned in this process: the Cincinnati VA completes 583,00+ appointments annually, Veterans that unable to be seen with 28 days or drive more than 60 minutes are community care eligible, and I am one of only a handful of providers in NKY set-up. The demand is there so if you have questions, I'm here to help. Your primary will need my NPI when speaking with Community Care. That's it, that's the process. Simple.

This weekend is in remembrance of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We love our armed service members and honor the memory of those fallen soldiers today. We will continue normal office hours tomorrow. Justin, Sam, Felix, and Finnley.
