I took a little walk today. I have been looking for signs that my sister is still with me. On my walk, I saw this milk thistle flower and snapped a shot of it, capturing the bee on top. Missy's favorite color was purple, which is what first drew my attention. Missy died of liver failure. Medicinally, milk thistle is known for its protection for the liver. Milk thistle's spiritual symbolism is multifaceted, representing protection, inner strength, and the human capacity for healing and forgiveness. Its association with rebirth and renewal can show us that adversity can be a catalyst for personal growth and transformation. Bees, with their highly social nature and remarkable industry, embody the values of teamwork, generosity, and fertility, inspiring us to cultivate these qualities in our own lives.

I'm currently on a retreat. The theme is, "Be Your Own Shaman". I booked this retreat back in February. When my sister passed, I thought it was terrible timing to do this, but I also knew I really needed it more than ever. So I'm here. I'm processing my emotions, talking with my sister, and feeling her presence at times. Today, after one of our group sessions, I saw these cards on the table and picked one. The message was perfect for me.
