Attention All New and Returning Clients!

Reminders:

Appointments: Please arrive on time for your appointment. It is important to keep the daily schedule running smoothly. For all reschedules, please email, call, or text Kristen Monday through Friday 9 am-6 pm. All reschedules or requests on weekends and evenings will be charged an additional fee.

Visitors: Please remember that visitors must be discussed and received with prior permission from Kristen. Your privacy and confidentiality is highly important to me. Due to the sensitive nature of therapeutic topics, children and adolescent visitors from ages 1-17 are not recommended to attend a parent's or marriage session.

Family and Friends: Please remember to discuss and respect the importance of privacy and confidentiality in counseling with family and friends. Please encourage separate activities for family members during your sessions.

Attention All Clients:
Starting on June 10th 2023, all no show clients will be charged an additional $15.00 to their full session fee. Furthermore, all clients arriving 15 minutes after start time will be charged an additional $10.00 to their session fee. It is important to have ample time to work through your therapeutic process and goals. Thank You!

Attention All Incoming And Current Clients:
All clients aged 18 and up must be responsible for their healthcare decisions. You must provide legal documentation from a doctor, psychiatrist, or court to allow another individual to be a part of your relative's healthcare decisions to Kristen. There are no exceptions to this HIPPA confidentiality and privacy rule. If you have questions about the HIPPA confidentiality and privacy rules, please reach out to Kristen on her business line Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm. Thank you for respecting all confidentiality and privacy rules.

Attention All Clients:
Kristen Salvato LPCA Counseling Services LLC will be closed on December 21st and 28th 2022. Kristen Salvato LPCA Counseling Services LLC will be holding in person sessions on December 17-18th from 1 pm to 5 pm to accommodate the upcoming Christmas holiday.
During counseling service closures,
1) If clients are experiencing suicidal thoughts, please dial 911 and go to the nearest emergency room for assistance. Please email or text Kristen about your trip to the emergency room. Your message will be returned within 4 hours.

2) All reschedules will be received and answered within 72 hours. Please check your schedules for the upcoming holiday week now.

3) Remember to practice your daily self care and support system throughout the holiday week!

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period starting on September 15 and ending on October 15. It was enacted into law on August 17, 1988, on the approval of Public Law 100-402.

The day of September 15 is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on September 16 and September18, respectively. For all in-person and telehealth intake sessions, please remember to bring 2 forms of identification to share with the counselor. This will go into effect starting on September 8, 2022. For all young clients, you may bring a copy of school records, medical record visit, school picture identification, or birth certificate. Have a great day!
