🍼 👶What is Torticollis? And Why Does It Matter?
Torticollis is a condition where a baby’s neck muscles are tight or imbalanced, causing them to tilt their head to one side and have trouble turning it the other way. This can make things like feeding, sleeping, or tummy time more difficult—and may even lead to a flat spot on their head if not addressed early.
You might notice:
🔹 Your baby always looking one direction
🔹 A flat spot on the back or side of the head
🔹 Trouble turning their head during tummy time
🔹 Preference for nursing or bottle feeding on one side only
👶 Left untreated, torticollis can affect head shape, vision development, and even motor milestones like rolling, crawling, and sitting.
