Back in February 2022, during the COVID days, the Okaloosa Board Of County Commissioners dedicated the week of March 27-April 2 as Dr. Patrick Anastasio Appreciation week. They recognized Dr. A and the staff for the outstanding care during the epidemic. Our staff had given over 12,000 vaccines and 750 monoclonal antibody treatments to patients all across the state of Florida. For their courageous dedication and service to Okaloosa County citizens and the surrounding communities. They expressed their gratitude to Dr. A & his staff for their meritorious service.

All of our locations will be participating in a Spirit Week to celebrate Dr. A! Patients are welcome to participate with the staff.

You may walk in to our clinic in FWB, 921 Mar Walt Dr. Monday - Friday 8:00am-3:30pm ( lunch from 12:00-1:00pm). Please bring your Covid vaccine card, picture iD and insurance card(s). Thank you!

Notice from Dr. Patrick Anastasio, DO

After 29 years as a doctor and 18 years serving our community, it is with a grateful heart that I announce my retirement from Emerald Coast Infectious Diseases Medical Group (ECID), with my last day being December 31, 2023.

I am going to miss talking to other doctors, nurses and staff. But most of all, I am going to miss the patients. I cannot express how grateful I am to work for you.

As I transition to retirement, I leave you in the hands of my colleagues at ECID. We have some of the best new doctors in the field of Infectious Diseases. You can schedule with an ECID Infectious Disease provider by calling 850.862.3979. All medical records will continue to be in the care at the headquarters of Emerald Coast Infectious Diseases Medical Group, located at 917 Mar Walt Drive, Fort Walton Beach FL 32547. You are welcome to have a copy your medical records or transferred to another provider outside of Emerald Coast Infectious Diseases Medical Group.
