Rare Disease Day 💜

My journey has allowed me to meet some of the most astonishing, inspiring and resilient children and families!

These families are dealing with diagnoses most people have never even heard of! Many don’t have a name, and are a collection of letters and numbers that leave parents puzzled and uncertain. On top of that, these families are navigating a medical system that has more questions than answers!

Your children are not defined by a diagnosis. The diagnosis does not limit their potential!! Their potential is limitless, and thank you for letting me discover it with you!

You give my life so much purpose and meaning—I am truly forever grateful! 🥹🥹

What a difference 3 weeks can make! 🥹🥹🥹

With the use of:

We were able to achieve:

When treating torticollis and/or body tension, it is imperative to look beyond the neck.

Here is a look at what I assess as a physical therapist when treating your little love!

Utilizing and , we were able to achieve:
✔️Decreased left head tilt
✔️Elongated neck/lowered shoulders
✔️Improved eye opening/improved symmetry between left and right eyes
✔️Improved symmetry in nostrils, mouth and fullness of cheeks

All of this was done without a helmet, in ways that can be taught to parents for carry over and with a pain free approach!!

I’m excited to share that I’m participating in the 2025 Million Dollar Bike Ride. This is my second year and my son is joining me (his second year as well). He’s not old enough to register officially, but he would be so excited if we can double my goal for him!!

We are riding for this beautiful girl, to fund research for STXBP1–a rare disorder, which currently does not have a cure!
