Does your loved one with dementia love gardening? I know I do and during the "work week" I don't have time to keep up with the weeds! Help them help you! Get them outside as much as possible to feed their passion if that is what they love. Adapt if necessary for safety...but get them out in the fresh air and enjoy what they enjoy. This is key!💜💜💜

I just heard in the last couple of days that recent studies happening in the UK regarding dementia are focused on prevention, intervention, and care instead of a new pill. Love hearing this as that is what this program promotes as well. In my opinion we need to shift our focus on treatment with interaction, not more medication.
