Hey Family and Friends!
You’ve obviously heard me talk a lot about my business, A Gentle Touch Home Care, LLC. I wanted to let you know that I’m going to be fundraising a business loan through a non-profit called Kiva.org and I could really use your support.
Kiva is the first and largest crowdlending platform that connects entrepreneurs to their community members who can give micro-loans of $25 or more at 0% interest. They aim to foster a greater sense of social impact and economic development, and have distributed $709 million over 10 years, amongst 1.5 million small businesses, across 85 countries.
Before I am able to publicly fundraise on Kiva’s site, they ask me to prove my credit worthiness by demonstrating my friends and family trust me and are willing to be private lenders during the private fundraising period. It’s my hope that you’ll help me out! I have 15 days to get XX lenders in order to make it on the public platform where anyone on Kiva can lend to me. The funds from this loan will go towards (insert short description of loan use).
I would like to ask you to lend as little as $25 (which you will get back!) so that I can progress to the public fundraising period once I reach XX private lenders.
