Lots of buzz words hereā¦let me explain.
Stress processing is essential as part of your daily taking care habits. Itās about having a regulated, resourced, and resilient nervous system.
This can be something as small as a moment to moment breath and mindset reframe, to something as big as an hour long practice.
It all depends on your capacity and needs.
When I say stress processing, I really mean letting yourself flow through the stress response cycle.
First noticing the stress response in the body, then letting yourself mobilize that activation, followed by allowing your body to deactivate, so all of you can land in a place of restoration.
This process can be subtle or grand, and slow or fast.
It all depends how much you are able to get out of the way and allow the process to happen.
And thatās where the practices come in, because we have learned all these wonderful ways to shut down, tune out, or bypass the process.
