Hello everyone!
How have you all been doing? I hope well. Yes, I have my throw shawl on again because once again the season is changing and it has gotten pretty cool, especially these past few nights, right?
Unless you have experienced a winter of "cabin fever" in the far north, you may be surprised to learn that the rhythms of the seasons underlie seasonal affective disorder (SAD), or depression that occurs during the fall and winter months. Almost anyone can get a little depressed when days are short, dark, and cold. But when a person's symptoms are lasting and disabling, the problem may be SAD. With each passing day of these coming months, you may notice yourself or someone else become sadder, anxious, irritable, and socially withdrawn.
If you or someone you know is struggling with SAD symptoms please do not hesitate, reach out and get the help needed to try and feel better! You don't have to go through these next few months feeling 'mentally unstable, off, or weird."

Feel better.
