Today I was sorting some stuff and found my old business card and I had this moment of "aha". It doesn't seem like much, but sometimes this is what progress looks like. Small changes that are made as you can to get to where you want to be. I didn't love my old cards, but they were cheap and easy when I first started. Recently, my husband encouraged me to get nicer cards I was more proud of. Last week, I went to a networking/educational event and intentionally brought my cards to share!! I was so happy with the responses, and today I'm so proud of all the small progresses I've made over the last (almost) 3 years!!
Today's lesson: In all things it does not have to be all or nothing. Small victories are worth celebrating, too, whether it's business cards, eating right, getting your water in for the day, nursing your baby comfortably or getting even 2oz of breastmilk a day into your baby. It's all worth celebrating. You're worth it!

I never delivered here or worked with Stephanie personally but I have literally NEVER heard a bad thing said about either. My heart hurts as a birth worker to see the massive loss of birthing choices for this area in such a small amount of time! We considered delivering here at one point and even though we chose somewhere else I'm glad we had the CHOICE and it was ours to make. Closing this will displace expecting families all the way into the summer who are expecting to be able to deliver here.

Today was my first client back and as I sit here writing up my summary notes and follow-up reccomendations I can't help but feel so blessed the have been able to work with this sweet 1st time mom and adorable baby ❤️ It was the perfect transition off leave, to be able to go in and just affirm, encourage and pour love into this new dyad that are absolutely ROCKING breastfeeding!

You’re not doing nothing.
This is why you’re so tired at the end of the day.
This is why you’re so hungry and so thirsty.
So, if all you did was feed your baby today, don’t let your mind convince you that you didn’t do enough.
