Our Gala is more than an evening of celebration. It is a lifeline for our ministry and the people we serve. Each year, this event makes it possible for us to continue offering safe housing, affordable mental health services, and faith based care to women, men, children, and families.

The Gala helps us raise the vital support we depend on from generous donors and sponsors, ensuring that transformation, healing, and restoration remain possible for those who need it most!

So often the enemy tries to trip us up by planting irrational fears in our minds or convincing us to take things too personally. Maybe it’s that text you overanalyzed, or the thought that everyone is upset with you when really… they aren’t. These little lies can weigh heavy on our hearts, stir up anxiety, and steal our peace.

The truth is, most of the time things aren’t meant the way we take them. But the enemy loves when we spiral in self-doubt and fear, because it distracts us from the freedom we have in Jesus.

The good news? We don’t have to live there. God’s Word reminds us of who we are and steadies our thoughts. When worry or hurt creeps in, we can pause, pray, and hand it over to Jesus!

Jesus offers us rest for our minds and hearts. His peace is bigger than our worries, and His love steadies us when our thoughts try to run all over us. When we feel that tug to panic or take offense, we can pause, pray, and choose to hand those feelings over to Him.

His peace is bigger than our fears, and His love has the ability to quiet the noise in our minds.

Our God is good on Mondays, faithful on Wednesdays, and worthy of celebration every day…but something about Friday feels...

Our God is good on Mondays, faithful on Wednesdays, and worthy of celebration every day…but something about Friday feels like a reason to celebrate Him even more!

So let’s stomp into the weekend with joy that can’t be stolen. Laugh loud and blast our worship playlist.

At Hope Alive, we know life can feel heavy. It may be anxiety, grief, stress, or even old wounds that have a way of showing up uninvited. But here’s the truth: God is with you in every moment, and He’s still writing your story. Joy isn’t about pretending everything’s fine. It's about remembering you’re not walking this road alone.

So today, give yourself permission to rest. The bills might still be there, the to-do list might still be long but none of that gets to steal your peace. You’ve survived 100% of your hardest days so far, and the same God who carried you through this week will walk you into the next.

That’s reason enough to celebrate, soul-deep.

Thank You for the endless grace You give grace that meets us in our mistakes, our mess, and our weakness.

Help us not to hold it all for ourselves, but to pour it out for others too.

When it’s hard to forgive, soften our hearts. 💜

When our minds cling to hurt, quiet our thoughts with Your peace.🕊

Teach us to see people the way You see us.

By You we are loved, worth fighting for, never beyond hope.🫂🫶

No one signs up for struggle. We don’t wake up hoping for disappointment, heartbreak, or unanswered prayers. But somehow, those are often the places where God does His deepest work in us.

Sometimes the pain you’re facing isn’t punishment… it’s preparation.

God has this amazing way of taking the hardest parts of our stories and using them to shape something beautiful and not just for our good, but for the good of others too. What you’re walking through right now might one day be the exact thing that helps someone else feel seen, understood, and not alone.

It might not make sense yet. You might still be waiting for the “why.” But don’t lose hope because God’s not done. He’s shaping purpose in the middle of the process. And one day, you may look back and see how even this... had meaning.

Do you ever notice how patient God is with us? He doesn’t rush our healing. He doesn’t get tired of our questions. He sticks with us through every high and low even when we don’t feel our best.

But we’re not always that patient with ourselves, are we?

Some days are just hard. You might feel off, overwhelmed, or like you’re not making progress. That’s okay. Bad days don’t erase the growth that’s happening underneath the surface.

You’re not expected to have it all together. You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to take a breath. You’re allowed to be in process.

God is still working, even when you’re just surviving the day. Be gentle with yourself. He already is. 🫂🙏🫶
