Week 3: Fantastic Fungi! 🍄 we switched up the hike this week and challenged our class to see how many different kinds of fungi we could find! They are getting especially good at identifying Turkey tail. 🌟 We were also wildly fortunate to find many little creatures to observe, including a blue jay that had just joined the circle of life. Next week is our last theme for September ~ weather! 🌦️

Our first small group of September Early Explorers gathered today to learn about Deciduous Trees & Leaves! 🍁🍃 After over an hour of woods exploration they had a community snack, stories with Velma 🐩, were shown various types of leaves, and had lots of fun at our art/sensory/imagination stations! 🎨
