🍎✨ Young Pre-K at Little Praisers! ✨🍎

Our Young Pre-K friends are busy learning through hands-on activities that build early math and problem-solving skills. This week, we had so much fun sorting and gluing colorful apples! 🍏🍎💛

Sorting activities like this help children practice:
✔️ Color recognition
✔️ Early categorizing and organizing skills
✔️ Fine motor strength (using scissors & glue)
✔️ Following directions

Most importantly, our kiddos are building confidence and independence while learning in a fun, interactive way. 💡❤️

🌾🐷🚜 Farm Week Fun in Our 2s Program! 🚜🐷🌾

Last week our 2s had the BEST time exploring farm life through hands-on learning and play!

✨ They dug through sensory corn bins to find farm animals,
🎨 painted and created muddy pigs,
🖌️ got messy with sensory play,
🏡 built barns with craft sticks,
…and most importantly, had so much fun learning together!

We love seeing their curiosity grow as they explore the world around them. 💛

🌟 Infant Program Spotlight 🌟

There’s never a dull moment in our Infant Program! 💕 From giggles on the play mat, to exploring new toys, enjoying tummy time, and trying out yummy foods—our babies are busy learning and growing every day.

👶 In our Infant Program, we focus on:
✨ Building trust and security through nurturing care
✨ Encouraging exploration with sensory play and interactive toys
✨ Supporting early development through tummy time, sitting, and self-feeding
✨ Creating a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment

🎨✨ Check out our first artist study in Pre-K! ✨🎨

This week we learned all about Henri Matisse, a famous French artist known for his colorful cut-paper collages. Our little artists used scissors, glue, and bright paper to create their very own masterpieces inspired by his style! 💛🖌️

🍎🎨 Pre-K Still Life Art Exploration 🎨🍏

This week during art, our Pre-K students explored the concept of still life! A still life is when artists draw or paint objects they see right in front of them, focusing on shapes, colors, and details.

Apples were placed on the table and the children were encouraged to take their time observing before drawing. Each child noticed different things—some focused on the round shape, others on the shine, the stem, or even the color differences between red and green apples.

Through this activity, the children practiced:
✨ Observation skills – looking closely at details
🖍️ Fine motor control – drawing and coloring carefully
🎨 Artistic expression – showing their own style and perspective
🧠 Cognitive development – connecting what they see with how they represent it on paper

It’s always amazing to see how each child’s personality shines through in their artwork. No two apples turned out the same, just like no two artists are the same!

We are so proud of their hard work and creativity this week. 💛

🐸 Look who came to visit Little Praisers this week!
This little tree frog found the perfect spot to hang out on our wall. The kids loved spotting him—what a reminder that God’s creation is all around us, even in the smallest creatures! 🌿✨

🌟 Thursdays are for Cartwheels in Motion! 🤸‍♀️✨

Every Thursday, Ms. Beth joins us for a special gymnastics class called Cartwheels in Motion! Children ages 2 and up get the chance to climb, balance, swing, and tumble while building strength, coordination, and confidence.

Our little ones love this time to move their bodies, try new skills, and celebrate their accomplishments with friends. 💪💜

We are so thankful for Ms. Beth and the joy she brings each week!
