Formerly Villa of the Woods Senior Residential Living, we continue to be a warm, welcoming living community for older adults as St. We are a state-licensed community where residents enjoy private living accommodations and several amenities at no extra cost: housekeeping, laundry services, meals, and recreational activities and is a service of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend with an "aging-in-

place" philosophy. More than five decades ago, the building was the home to the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration known as Our lady of Lourdes convent, the sisters were teachers at Bishop Luers High School across the street. In 1979, the building was converted for senior citizens. In 2001, eight bedrooms, low barrier or barrier-free showers for all the rooms, a dining room and a lounge were added; vestiges of the former convent remain.
