GETTING TO KNOW US!!!

April Schultz is a Physical Therapist Assistant and certified Pilates instructor; she is a lifelong mover and advocate for holistic well-being. Her journey through movement began early, as she engaged in various sports throughout her school years, a combined 24 years of dance experience and competed in bodybuilding competitions, which all helped foster a deep understanding of the human body’s capabilities.

Graduating from the University of Saint Francis in 2006, she embarked on a fulfilling career in an out-patient orthopedic setting. April is a seasoned Pilates instructor. Her commitment to well-being led her to become a certified Pilates instructor in 2010 through BASI (Body Art and Science International), a renowned organization in the fitness industry.

Beyond her professional pursuits, April continues to lead an active lifestyle, constantly exploring new ways to move and challenge her own limits. However, when she is not immersed in work, April wholeheartedly embraces the joys of downtime. Her most cherished moments are spent with her lively toddler and newborn, who never fails to bring a smile to her face. She finds peace while walking her dogs in the great outdoors. One of her more exhilarating passions is taking her car to the race track. It’s in those fast paced moments that she finds an electrifying escape from the daily grind. Thanks to the steadfast support and partnership of her husband, Joe, she is able to pursue both career success and personal happiness.

In one given day at the studio these are a few conditions that clients are learning to work through. In a private session we educate each client on their specific condition, teach proper body mechanics, find and maintain muscle balances and teach how to place appropriate stresses on the body.
