I HAVE DISCOVERED A SECRET - THE REAL FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH!

Hey friends, Kierra here, PranaYoga's Lead Faculty and Enrollment Director. And I've officially taken over PranaYoga's social media page today to let you in on a not-so-secret-secret.

The real anti-aging medicine? Comes from yoga! Just ask our founder, Vani, who is celebrating a big birthday today! 🎂

If you see her, make sure to tell her the yoga is WORKING. She'll know what we mean 😉

Happy Birthday Vani. Celebrating you always.

Love,
Everyone who is on that not-so-secret MAGIC called Sattva Yoga Therapy.

Our nervous system–based approach includes:

🫁 Breath and somatic practices that rewire your stress response

🌿 Explore Vinyasa Krama: Yoga Therapy in Action 🌿

Vinyasa Krama—originally presented by TKV Desikachar—is a step-by-step approach that makes yoga therapy accessible, adaptable, and deeply therapeutic. More than just a sequence, it’s a method of moving with intention, precision, and care, supporting both healing and transformation.

In this video, you’ll experience:

A guided exploration of Ustrasana (Camel Pose) and its different forms, showing how Vinyasa Krama adapts postures for individual needs

✨ At Pranayoga Studio & Training Institute, we teach yoga as more than movement—it’s medicine for body, mind, and spirit. Our approach integrates the wisdom of yoga therapy and Ayurveda with modern understanding, empowering students, clients, and future yoga therapists alike.

🧘 Come experience the Pranayoga difference: where every step, every breath, and every pose is part of a healing path. Learn more in our yoga therapy program, Sattva Yoga Therapy. https://www.rfr.bz/fa1383b

Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy

If your shoulders tense when you lift your arms, we don’t force them.
We soften the breath.
We widen the ribs.
We invite in our curiosity.
We wait.
This is how the nervous system learns that it’s safe to open.

Everyone’s talking about polyvagal theory.

We never built our programs around it.

Not because the ideas are useless—but because they aren’t yoga.

Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda already offer refined, embodied ways to understand regulation, safety, and healing—without over-pathologizing the human experience or stepping outside scope.

We chose to stay in our lane.
And that lane has been working for thousands of years.

Healing is simple.
Explaining why is complex.

✨ Trust the systems you’re trained in.
✨ Let the body lead.
✨ Language matters.

They say making a new habit is like planting a seed in a garden of daily routines. It's hard and requires tender care because the moment we neglect it, it may wither away. 🌱 But remember, true and lasting change isn't about never facing obstacles but having the strength to overcome them each time they block our path. 💪 Desire for change is the spark, and willingness to tackle challenges is the fuel that keeps the fire ablaze.Your consistent actions carve out the reality of who you are and who you aspire to be. Adapting and staying the course shapes us, defining our habits and, ultimately, our identity. 🌟 Here's to nurturing our habits, growing resilient against the winds of change, and blooming in our own time. You got this!

Lineage matters.
But yoga therapy asks more of us.

It asks us to look beyond form, beyond tradition, beyond “this is how I was taught”—
and toward the human being in front of us.

Yoga therapy lives at the intersection of
🧘‍♀️ ancient wisdom
🧠 modern science
🤍 lived experience

After 17 years of clinical work, I know this to be true:
our students are our greatest teachers.

This week, try this:
Pause before you teach.
Ask why you’re offering what you’re offering.
Listen more than you instruct.

And watch how yoga evolves—
not as a system,
but as a living practice.
