What does Occupational Therapy look like❓

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶

April is Volunteer Month, and we are celebrating the amazing people of all ages who share their time with our residents. From calling bingo to painting nails 💅, performing music 🎵 to simply sitting and chatting, our volunteers bring an essential joy and connection to our community.

🍋 Join us next Tuesday, March 31, at 2 p.m. and wear orange for our Lemonade Fundraiser to support those with Multiple Sclerosis. 🧡 All proceeds will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which provides resources to those living with MS. The price is $1 per cup of lemonade, and extra donations are welcomed. 🤝
