Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne is a continuing care living center that welcomed its first residents in January 2015. Nearly 90,000 square feet, the living center includes all levels of care - independent and assisted living apartments, healthcare, rehabilitation, and memory care. The Villas at Heritage Lakes is a 65-and-over free-standing, independent-living villa community located right on our campus. Six floor plans, two and three bedroom models, two baths, two car garages. Our club house with fitness room, kitchen/coffee bar and gathering room is completely accessible at all times by our residents. Four lakes and nearly a mile of paved walkways add to the beauty of the neighborhood. We are the third location of Heritage Pointe Communities, and proudly affiliated with Heritage Pointe of Warren, IN and Heritage Pointe of Huntington. All Heritage Pointe Communities locations are owned and operated by the United Methodist Memorial Home (UMMH).

We were delighted to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus to a recent visit at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne! Their appearance brought so much joy, laughter, and holiday cheer to our community. Seeing the smiles on our residents’ faces, and sharing in the excitement with our staff, made the season feel truly magical. Moments like these remind us how special our Heritage Pointe family is, especially during the holidays.

Employee Spotlight: Amber Hadley, Activity Director

We’re excited to spotlight Amber Hadley, who joined Heritage Pointe in August 2023 as our Memory Care Coordinator and was promoted to Activity Director in December 2024.

Amber felt called to senior living because she’s always had a servant’s heart. “Helping others, bringing laughter, and making people smile is what drives me,” she shares.

Meet Our Board Member: Rev. Steven Conner

Rev. Steven Conner is a Fort Wayne resident who retired in 2018 after 43 years in United Methodist pastoral ministry. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary and has served on multiple boards, including Bashor Children’s Home and Associated Churches.
