In reflecting on my last year, I remain honored to have received the 2023 Midwest Chapter Outstanding Member award. I am blessed with the opportunity to serve our older population.

This year's Chapter Awards have been announced! The Midwest Chapter 2023 Outstanding Member is Ruth Ann Force! "Her extensive tenure as an active member of the MW Chapter speaks volumes about her unwavering commitment to the field of elder care. Her leadership at both the unit and chapter levels has been instrumental in driving positive change and fostering growth within our organization. Ruth's ability to lead an exploratory practice while actively participating in various leadership roles, including serving on the board as secretary and treasurer, is a testament to her exceptional dedication and professionalism. Despite juggling multiple responsibilities, including managing her own business, and the recent loss of parents, her dedication to ALCA remains unwavering. Force Care Coordination +, LLC is an active member of Aging Life Care Association™ and looking to grow our professional geriatric care management services within the nine northeastern counties of Indiana. We are seeking qualified candidates for a full-time salaried position.

The Aging Life Care Professional® provides comprehensive care management services to a variety of clients. A typical caseload is 15-20 clients which may include the frail and elderly living with cognitive impairment, community veterans, and older adults in need of legal oversight. Clients may live at home or in any type of community or institutional setting.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, gerontology, nursing, psychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, health and human services, or a related field of human services delivery preferred.
2. Experience working with the elderly within a public or private agency. Relevant settings would include home health care, medical clinics, hospitals, private service agencies, public social services, nursing homes, residential housing agencies, and care management agencies.
3. Helpful but not required is knowledge and experience in working with Guardianship, Trusts, and related fiduciary issues.
