As proud supporters and friends of Humane Fort Wayne our goal is to make a lasting, positive impact. With that in mind, we’ve made the tough decision to forgo this year’s Pets of Lindenwood Calendar fundraiser.

We know how much joy this event brings each year and we feel it too! 💛 While we’ll miss it, our support for Humane Fort Wayne will continue in a meaningful new way.

One of the most used resources for location inquiries comes from our friends at The Genealogy Center housed in the Allen County Public Library. Their date is very up to date and provides quite a bit of information for those researching their family history. We are grateful that they have this amazing feature!

Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne is one of the largest and oldest cemeteries in Allen County and is listed on the National Historic Register. Thank you to the Genealogy Center at the Allen County Public Library for the walking tour today. We also have to thank those who came out on a quite dreary day. Allison did a beautiful job sharing history, etiquette and symbolism while highlighting prominent graves here at Lindenwood. We hope another event like this can happen soon!
