This week, we had the immense honor of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone—Helen Purvis turned 100 years old! Surrounded by friends, family, and fellow residents, we raised a glass of sparkling champagne and shared slices of cake in her honor. The celebration was made even more special with a visit from the Mayor of New Haven, who personally recognized Helen’s incredible life and legacy. A local news crew joined us to document the momentous occasion, capturing the joy, laughter, and heartfelt memories. Helen’s century of wisdom, grace, and resilience continues to inspire us all.
