The esteemed "Fun Committee" organized a successful "Galentine's Day" brunch for our valued female employees at Summit City. In this festive atmosphere, team members enjoyed activities such as fruit parfait creation and candy bracelet making, and received mini ink pens along with other gifts of appreciation.

Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation hosted a convivial "Souper" Bowl, featuring a culinary contest amongst the staff. Nine distinct soup creations were available for sampling, with attendees afforded the privilege of selecting their top three favorites. Megan, our esteemed ADNS, secured the coveted first-place position with an exceptional Taco Soup. Ashlea, our MR/Infectious Disease RN, earned second place with a delectable Zuppa Soup, and Jenna, our SSD, claimed third place with her palatable Potato Soup. We cherish these opportunities to engage in spirited camaraderie with both our personnel and residents, many of whom actively participated in the festivities.

In fact, they become an extension of your family. We are located on the north side of Fort Wayne, which is a part of northeastern Indiana. Fort Wayne is also the seat of Allen County. Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation has easy access to many roadways in Fort Wayne- Coliseum Boulevard, Lima Road, Clinton Street, State Boulevard, as well as Highway 69. It is located just north of downtown and within minutes of Parkview and St. Joseph Hospitals. A few of our local landmarks are Lakeside Golf and Bowling, Glenbrook Square and Jefferson Pointe. There are many physician offices, restaurants and shopping centers close by. Accepting Medicare, Managed Care and Private Insurances, our specialists will help you understand your benefits.
