As National Nursing Home Week concludes at Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation, we reflect on the enjoyable activities we've shared. Today's Carnival theme was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of our dedicated team. The decorations, carnival games, live music, and overall atmosphere provided a delightful experience for our residents. We extend our sincere appreciation to both our staff and residents. Thank you all for your diligent work in making this event a memorable one.

We concluded Nurses Week with a delightful cookout. Our administrator, Jae, thoughtfully provided strawberry plants for each nurse, symbolizing their established presence at Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation. The event was well-received, featuring enjoyable food, including hot dogs and chips, as well as ample opportunities for camaraderie. American Senior Communities was honored to sponsor the Water Lily conference hosted by Stillwater Hospice this year. This conference plays a vital role in their fundraising efforts, supporting their ongoing community care initiatives. The narratives shared were truly invaluable. The event featured excellent cuisine, delightful company, and supported a commendable cause.

During Nurses Week, we extended our sincere appreciation to our Nursing Team. Festivities included a "Nacho Average Nurse" celebration on Tuesday, featuring a taco and nacho bar complemented by non-alcoholic margaritas. The team enthusiastically participated in a piñata contest, and a delightful time was had by all.
