- It’s a gorgeous water lily is believed to have several different calming effects on the body. This is due to its two of its main components Apomorphine & Nuciferine. These two components are believed to give you a sense of euphoria. It may help reduce anxiety and help to improve sleep.

🩵 How can the blue lotus be used? 🩵
- There are several different ways the blue lotus could be used to ingest. We can make a variety different tea blends that incorporate this flower. We also have a blue lotus tincture.

🌿Tincture Thursday!🌿

Alcohol based vs Glycerite (alcohol-free)

💚Alcohol based tinctures are made by steeping the herbs in a high proof alcohol. Some herbs are better to extract in alcohol because it pulls more of the plants compounds. This can help to make it the tincture more effective. It also helps to make it little more shelf stable than our glycerties.

💚Glycerites are still shelf stable just like the alcohol based! They give you a little bit sweeter of a taste due to the glycerin. They still contain the herbal compounds just like the alcohol based. Glycerites can help those who are just starting out in the tincture world get used to taken them before diving headfirst into the alcohol based.
